The easiest way to raise money for an indigent child is to host a fundraiser as a way of receiving presents. Birthdays or anniversaries are a great time to spread the word about the importance of effective giving without appearing too pushy, and you’ll most likely find that your friends and family will be receptive to learning about how they can help!

BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

The Back to School Campaign is an initiative set up to help indigent children around the world receive free quality education. There is no doubt, that education gives children the tools to reach their full potential and that is why this year, we are enrolling 100,000 indigent children into school where the need is greatest.

You can help us to reach our target by using your special days to set up a fundraising campaign to sponsor indigent children back to school for $100. This covers all that a child would require for school and this comprises of a pair of school uniform, a pair of socks, a back pack, a water bottle, textbooks, exercise books, stationery set, and a pair of school shoes.

Sponsor a school kit

Alternatively, you can also raise funds to sponsor school kits for $43 which includes a pair of school uniform, a pair of sportswear, a pair of sports shoe, a backpack, exercise books, a pair of school shoes, a water bottle, a stationery set and a set of school socks.

What is a Virtual Food Drive?

A Virtual Food Drive is an online platform that allows individuals and organizations likewise to host a food drive through the InnerCity Mission fundraising website. With just a few clicks, anyone can purchase the most-needed items and make a difference in the lives of indigent children around the world. By going with a Virtual Food Drive, our Food Bank is able to cut the cost of recording and stocking shelves as well as transportation that traditional food drives require. This allows more funds to go directly to our mission of fighting hunger, improving lives and strengthening communities.

SEND PORTIONS

There is no better way to celebrate the Christmas season than to put a smile on the faces of needy children around you. Taking advantage of the send portions initiative, you can set up a fundraising campaign to sponsor the distribution of nutritious meals and gifts to indigent children and families in IDPs, inner cities, slums, orphanages and refugee camps around the world.

UN Observance

UN OBSERVANCES

The United Nations observes some special designated days, weeks, years, and decades, each with a theme, or topic as the case may be. By commemorating these observances, the InnerCity Mission promotes international awareness and action on these issues.

You can take advantage of our fundraising platform to promote awareness by setting up a campaign to commemorate these observances.

Here is a list of observances we commemorate;

International Day of Education – (To commemorate this day, you can set up a campaign to sponsor a child back school).
International Women’s Day – (sponsor a girl child back to school for $100)
World Water Day – (sponsor a clean water kit for $7)
World Health Day – (sponsor a hygiene kit for $8)
International Day for Street Children – (sponsor a child back to a school for $100)
International day families – (sponsor food items for needy families)
World Day against Child Labor – (sponsor a child back to school for $100)
International Youth Day
World Humanitarian Day – (sign up to volunteer with the InnerCity Mission)
International Day for Charity
International Literacy Day – (sponsor a child back to school for $100)
International Day for the Girl Child - (sponsor a girl child back to school for $100)
World food Day - (you can sponsor a meal for $3)
International Day for the Eradication of Poverty
