I believe that every child should have the opportunity to basic education as a starting point. I believe that education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty for less privileged children. But for most children who are affected by various social and economic disadvantages,  access to basic education is more of a privilege than a right. You and I can help  to make a difference to the lives of  children living in poverty by helping them gain access to basic education and help them realise their God given potential. That is why to celebrate my birthday this year, I am partnering with the inner city mission for children to raise $1000  for  their back to school campaign.  These funds are used to provide each child with school essentials like books, shoes, uniforms etc that their guardians would otherwise not be able to afford. Our man of God Pastor Chris urges us that children are the future of any society. Therefore we should protect every child. Every stray child should become our responsibility. Every hungry child should become our  responsibility. When we understand life this way, God sends angels to bless us with the good things of life and we will  never lack. He’ll provide for us so that we can care for the needy children around us. Your gifting towards this goal will mean the world to me and it's a way for each one of us to stand in the gap to say we can make a different and bring light in the lives of the less privileged children and families.
