About this project
Education is not a luxury. The more educated a child is, the better opportunities they can be positioned for. And as young as they are, they have dreams.
As at 2022, the number of out-of-school children in Nigeria alone, is over 20 million! (in an estimated population of 200 million). This has contributed to the decline in society and increase in social vices, even among children.
Success begins by identifying a human need and reaching out to meet that need. Through the InnerCity Mission and its fundraising platform, my Group and I would love to colour the dreams of 10 indigent children by sponsoring their education for the new session in September. 10 might not be a very large number, but even one child taken off the streets, can make a world of difference!
The estimated cost of sending one child back to school, including school uniforms, school bags and essentials, is approximately N70,000 (or $100).
We would also love to send portions to 300 children, as our contribution to solving the hunger problem. A portion is estimated at/approximated to N1,500 (or $2).
