About this project
According to UNICEF, 66 million primary school-age children attend classes hungry across the developing world, with 23 million in Africa alone. This impacts their ability to learn as nutrition is a great factor for academic success.
Through its School Feeding Program, the InnerCity Mission provides free breakfast and lunch for the indigent children who attend the InnerCity Mission School. This costs just N1000 ($4) per child.
In commemoration of my birthday on the 23rd of May 2017, I am supporting the InnerCity Mission by sponsoring 100 meals for the pupils of the school.
