"The tongue of the nursing child clings to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaks it unto them. They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets; they were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. Their appearance is now blacker than coal; they are not known in the streets, their skin cleaves to their bones: it is withered, it has become like a dry stick." Lamentations 4:4-5 & 8
UNICEF estimates that there are over 13 million abandoned children in Nigeria. In so many Peri-urban cities in Nigeria, you can still find children begging for food, some selling candies and sachet water between congested traffic in hope of earning a few coins- most of these children working under precarious conditions are often exposed to the harshness of the scorching sun, accident and abuse.
This is a plight worth caring for. You and I can make a difference by being God's outstretched arm of love to so many children out there for whom everyday is a quest for survival. Children are the future of any generation. When we fix the children, we fix the future.
Kindly join me in this project by donating at least N1000 or more to help provide food supplies for indigent and less privileged children in the inner cities. To support this initiative, kindly click on "Support Campaign" and proceed to give online. [N.B. For the security of your details, it is important that you register first]
I specially thank you for joining me in this project as we touch lives. With your gift of N1000 or more we can provide food supplies for at least 100 children. I love you big!
